The IOTA Foundation, dedicated to advancing practical uses of IOTA technology, has launched its Technology Adoption Department, a pivotal move to foster IOTA’s integration across various sectors. As the IOTA ecosystem progresses with innovative technologies and partnerships, the Foundation is restructuring its top leadership to steer the next phase of growth.
Dr. Navin Ramachandran, a longstanding member pivotal since 2016, now joins the Supervisory Board to oversee the Foundation’s operations. His extensive background as a medical practitioner and healthcare researcher, coupled with advisory roles in UK’s Blockchain Parliamentary Group, enriches board deliberations.
Accompanying Dr. Ramachandran on the Supervisory Board are Professor Serguei Popov, renowned mathematician and Foundation co-founder, and Clinton Walker, General Counsel at Barclays Bank Delaware.
The Board of Directors welcomes Dr. Anja Radan, overseeing Legal and Regulatory Affairs; Jan Misselwitz, managing Finance & People; and Luca Moser, directing Research & Development. Dominik Schiener, Foundation Co-Founder, chairs the Board.
Dr. Christoph Strnadl assumes the role of Director of Technology Adoption, bringing over thirty years of IT consulting experience, including strategic roles at Atos and Software AG. His appointment underscores the Foundation’s commitment to leveraging technology for business advantages.
In his new capacity, Dr. Strnadl will lead initiatives targeting B2B and corporate sectors, focusing on projects like asset tokenization and digital identity frameworks.
The establishment of the Technology Adoption Department marks a critical step in the Foundation’s mission to promote IOTA’s practical applications, enhancing strategic growth alongside key divisions like Ecosystem, Finance & People, Research & Development, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and Communications.
