IOTA is also targeting the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries. The establishment of the IOTA Foundation in Abu Dhabi through a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Global Market was a critical move to gain a presence in the region. The foundation has allocated $10 million to promote the tokenization of real-world assets, an area where IOTA has taken the lead. In Africa, IOTA is working with the World Economic Forum and Trademark Africa to promote fair and transparent trade.
