In a bid to enhance blockchain functionality and community engagement, Cardano has rolled out the innovative Cardano Ogmios v6.4.0, despite a slight dip in ADA’s price.
The latest update comes on the heels of Cardano’s Project Catalyst announcement and the launch of Fund 11, which earmarked 50 million ADA for community-driven projects. The release of Cardano Ogmios v6.4.0 underscores the platform’s dedication to improving its blockchain tools, as highlighted in an official tweet by Cardano Updates and detailed on the GitHub page of Cardano Solutions.
Ogmios v6.4.0 serves as a lightweight bridge interface for the cardano-node, bringing significant enhancements to blockchain interactions. It boasts full integration with cardano-node==8.11.0-pre, thorough testing across various network setups, new error types like UnauthorizedGovernanceAction (code=3165) and InvalidGenesis (code=2004), updated APIs, and Docker support for standalone and combined setups.
Despite these notable upgrades, ADA’s current trading price sits at $0.4597, reflecting a 0.22% decrease over the past day. However, the cryptocurrency has seen a 2.36% increase over the week. This minor decline is amidst wider market fluctuations and ongoing developments within the Cardano network.
